Help – Post a Lesson
Use Post Lesson to record the outcome of a golf coaching session with a professional or teaching pro. Logging your lessons helps you track what you have worked on, monitor your progress over time, and keep a record of your coach's advice.
How to Post a Lesson
- From MyHome, click Post Lesson in the left-hand menu.
- Fill in the lesson details (see field descriptions below).
- Click Post to save.
Field Descriptions
- Duration — how long the lesson lasted (in minutes).
- Focus — the main aspect of your game worked on during the lesson (e.g. Driving, Iron Play, Short Game, Putting, Course Management).
- Date — the date the lesson took place.
- Place — where the lesson was held (e.g. driving range, course, simulator).
- Outcome — how well the lesson went (Excellent / Good / Fair / Poor).
- Comment — free text for notes on what you covered, drills assigned, or questions to follow up with your coach. You can also ask The Golf Mentor AI coach a question here and it will be answered in your session recap.
Why Log Your Lessons?
- Lessons feed into your practice focus and goals, helping Golf Mentor suggest relevant practice topics.
- You can look back at your lesson history from MyHome to see what you have worked on and how outcomes have improved.
- The AI coaching summary after a lesson can help you plan your next practice session to reinforce what you covered with your pro.
