Help – Mental Game

The Mental Game feature helps you build mental toughness and consistency on the course. It guides you through a structured pre-shot routine and periodic awareness tests to track your mental fitness over time.

Getting Started

  • From the top navigation bar (or the menu icon on mobile/iOS), go to MyHome and look for the Mental Game section in your dashboard.
  • On the iOS app, tap the Options button in the top menu and select MyHome to reach the Mental Game section.
  • The first time you open Mental Game, you will be guided through setting up your pre-shot description — a personalised routine you commit to before every shot.

Pre-Shot Routine

A consistent pre-shot routine is the foundation of good mental game. Your routine is stored in your profile and displayed as a reminder before practice sessions.

  • To edit your routine, go to Mental Game → Edit.
  • Keep it brief and actionable (3–5 steps).
  • To reset to the recommended default, use the Reset pre-shot description button in your Mental Game settings.

Awareness Tests

Periodic awareness tests measure how well you are mentally engaged during a round:

  • Tests are short (3–5 questions) and take under two minutes.
  • Results are tracked over time so you can see whether your mental focus is improving.
  • You must be a Premium member to edit your test settings and access full history.
