Help – iOS Dashboard

The Dashboard is your home screen in the Golf Mentor iOS app. From here you can start a new game, continue a live round, access your courses, and navigate to all features.

Dashboard Overview

  • Active Game — if you have a live game in progress, it is shown at the top with the current hole number. Tap to resume.
  • Courses — access your saved courses, open the hole map, or start the AI Caddy for your current course.
  • Subscription Status — your current plan is shown. Tap Upgrade to unlock Premium features.

Navigating the iOS App

  • Top-left button (Options) — shows context-specific links for the current page (e.g. Back, hole navigation). In the native app this is rendered as a native bridge button.
  • Top-right button (Menu) — access: Dashboard, MyHome, ChatGPT, Settings, Help, Sign Out.
  • Swipe gestures — standard iOS swipe-left to go back works throughout the app.

Starting a Game

  1. From the Dashboard, go to Courses and select your course.
  2. Open the Hole Map for the first hole.
  3. A game is automatically created when you open a mapped course hole for the first time during a session.
  4. Wear your Apple Watch and start hitting — swings are captured automatically.

Ending a Game

Games are automatically closed after a set time period. You can also manually end a game from MyHome → [Game Name] → End Game.

Apple Watch Connection

  • Ensure the Golf Mentor Watch app is installed and the Watch is connected to your iPhone.
  • The Watch detects swings automatically — you do not need to press anything before each shot.
  • Keep your iPhone in your pocket (not a cart) for best accuracy.
