Help – Account & Billing

Golf Mentor offers a free tier (Rules Puzzle, Handicap Calculator) and a Premium membership (AI Caddy, swing analysis, full game tracking, goals, plans, AI chat coaching).

Pricing

  • Premium is billed monthly or annually — see current pricing at thegolfmentor.com/pricing.
  • A free trial period is included — no credit card required to start.

Upgrading to Premium

  1. Web — click the Upgrade link in the top navigation bar, or go to Settings → Billing → Upgrade.
  2. iOS app — tap the Options button in the top menu, select Settings, then Billing. Follow the in-app purchase prompts.
  3. Enter your payment details (Stripe on web; Apple In-App Purchase on iOS).
  4. Your account is upgraded immediately.

Updating Your Payment Method (Web)

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Update Card Details.
  2. Enter your new card details and save.

Cancelling Your Subscription

  1. Web — go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts. You retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period.
  2. iOS — subscriptions purchased via Apple must be cancelled through iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → The Golf Mentor.

Refunds

Refund requests can be submitted from Settings → Billing → Request Refund within the guarantee period. Contact [email protected] if you have questions.

Maximum Courses (iOS GPS)

Premium members can access a limited number of mapped golf courses per month (see your current plan for the limit). The count resets on your monthly billing date.

iOS vs. Web Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions purchased through the iOS App Store are managed by Apple.
  • Subscriptions purchased on the web are managed by Stripe.
  • Both grant the same Premium features but are billed separately.
